Say - Who's that??

On 14th September I had the pleasure of shooting Marilyn Monroe, Sven-Goran Eriksson, Elvis (five times!), Diana Ross and a host of other stars at the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus!

How did I manage this amazing feat?! - It was thanks to Sid Shaw of Elvisly Yours and
www.lookalikes-unite.com and its CEO, Jo Wiskin, who had organised a terrific group of lookalikes for a party and to raise money for the “Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.

"The Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre" is in memory of Maureen Shaw. The event "Maureen's Day 2" was organised by Sid Shaw of Elvisly Yours and husband of Maureen Shaw
who sadly died in March 2007 of Cancer. The event was supported by Friends, Elvis ETA', Lookalikes-Unite and their elite Members who are Professional Celebrity Lookalikes/Impersonators.

You can see some of what I and the general public saw and enjoyed in my slide show!

They need to raise £5,000.00 then LJMC will name a Counseling Room in memory of Maureen at the Cancer Centre, Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood.
They are over half way there.

All your donations will be gratefully received, especially from fans that knew Maureen or those fans around the world that appreciate the efforts Elvisly Yours have made to keep alive the memory of Elvis. You may Donate to LJMC in Maureen's Memory.
The day was about Maureen and the aim was to raise as much money in her memory for Cancer.

Thanks for the write up of a great fun day for a very worthy cause.
All of my "real dead ringer" lookalike-soundalike colleagues and ETA friends had a ball.

Dear Stefan,
Thank you for coming to "Maureen's Day 2" at the Trocadero Centre and taking such fabulous photos of a very memorable day. Also, thank you for your kind editorial helping us raise money for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre in Maureen's name.

I will put a link to your website on www.elvisly-yours.com during the week and hope it brings photographic business your way. Even though Westminster Council, community police and traffic wardens tried to spoil the day we made a lot of people happy and everyone had a great time. I am grateful to all the Celebrity Lookalikes, Elvises, Jo Wiskin of lookalikes-unite for their support and the London Trocadero for providing their premises,
Elvisly Yours,

Sid Shaw
